New York, NY – 3 November 2025 – INSHUR, the leader in insurance solutions for the on-demand economy, today announced the launch of Period Z, an on-rental insurance product under its subsidiary ABI Powered by INSHUR. Together with INSHUR’s existing industry-first off-rental insurance Period XTM, this new solution creates a complete coverage suite designed exclusively for carshare fleet owners across the United States.
Thanks to a convergence of factors – including increasing urbanization, growing demand amongst drivers for flexible transportation and preference for sustainable mobility solutions, as well as evolving technology, government policies and regulation – the US carshare market is predicted to grow from USD 3.1bn in 2024 to USD 4.8bn by 2034.
The launch of Period Z marks another milestone in INSHUR’s mission to modernize mobility insurance and deliver tailored solutions for the platform economy. With ABI Powered by INSHUR, carshare fleet owners now have a nationwide, one-stop insurance solution designed to unlock growth and reduce operational friction.
“Car share fleet owners have told us they need more freedom to run their businesses without being locked into a single platform or juggling multiple insurance providers,” said Dan Bratshpis, CEO and Co-founder, INSHUR. “By pioneering Period XTM and now introducing Period Z, ABI Powered by INSHUR is once again setting the standard in mobility insurance innovation, giving fleets the tools to expand, stay compliant, and maximize profitability. The partnership with Incline provides the rock-solid backing to these products, giving us the confidence to deliver this nationwide.”
With the introduction of Period Z, car share fleet owners gain unprecedented flexibility and efficiency by consolidating their coverage needs into a single, comprehensive product suite. The combined products allow fleets to seamlessly operate across multiple rental platforms and direct rental channels, removing administrative barriers and opening new revenue opportunities.
This launch is supported by a new strategic partnership with Incline P&C Group, a leading insurance program carrier with deep expertise in innovative insurance solutions. Incline will serve as the carrier partner for INSHUR’s car share product suite, bringing financial strength and long-term stability to the offering.
“Partnering with INSHUR and ABI on this groundbreaking suite of products demonstrates Incline’s commitment to supporting innovation in mobility and platform-driven industries,” said Chris McClellan, Incline CEO. “Together, we are delivering solutions that allow carshare fleets to scale with confidence.”
